Genesis

The Electrical and Electronics Engineering is evergreen in terms of scope and job prospects and is multi-disciplinary in nature, representing an indisputable synergy of different technologies ranging from Artificial Neural Networks, Fuzzy Logic, Micro-Controllers, Digital Signal Processing, Micro Electro Mechanical Systems and VLSI Design to core subjects of Generation, Transmission and Distribution of power, Power System Operation & Control, Protection & Switch Gear, Electrical Machines, and Power Electronics.

Electrical Engineers are expected to have fantabulous time with a rapid employment growth in the coming decade. There is a strong demand for Electrical Engineers in almost all industrial sectors. The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering has been playing a vital role in producing Engineers and Technologists of highest potential since 2010.

Faculty

Our greatest strength is our highly skilled and committed staff members having a positive work culture. We are honored to have Doctorates, Ph.D Scholars and faculties who have PG qualification in Electrical Engineering with various specializations (Power Electronics and Drives, Power Systems, Control and Instrumentation and Applied Electronics) with an average experience of seven years. They frequently participate in the international workshop/conference  and publish papers in various international journals.

Department Activities

The Electrical and Electronics Engineering department association named KRATU was established in the year 2012 and has been organizing various workshops and guest lectures, seminars, workshops etc., regularly.

Every year, ‘NCS2’ – A National Level Conference on Smart Systems, ‘Innomeet’ – a Polytechnic level Project exhibition, and a technical symposium ‘SAMGRAAMA’ and ‘LEAF’ – an intra-Department meet, where various events like quiz, paper presentation, circuit debugging etc, are organized by the Association.

The main objectives of these association activities are for enriching the students with unbounded technical skills and improving their soft skills. These clubs are intended to give them more exposure on the real time issues through various activities and encourage  them to provide the solutions. It is also aimed to encourage the students for the entrepreneurship culture among the EEE graduates.

Professional Body Membership

The department has membership with IEEE. IETE and ISTE for faculty members and students, which guide them for doing research and projects in their fields. Various guest lectures, workshops and Conferences are being organized through these professional bodies to enrich students’ knowledge.

Students Achievements

Many students participated and won prizes in various Paper Presentations, Quiz, Circuit Debugging and Project Contest at various Engineering Colleges.
