Genesis

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, started in the year 2009, offers BE (Computer Science and Engineering). The department aims to develop computer and software engineers who are industry-ready, innovative and entrepreneurial to become global leaders in research and technology. The department is an active participant in various activities in the campus. Students of the department are encouraged to participate and present papers in both national and international conferences.

Faculty

The Computer Science and Engineering Department of EBETi consists of 28 faculty members with an average experience of six years which includes industry experience also. The department has a Ph.D. professor and five of the faculty members are pursuing doctoral research. They frequently publish papers in various international journals and participate in at least one international workshop / conference every semester.

Laboratories

The computing centers of Computer Science and Engineering are equipped with 240 computers with high-end configuration distributed across Six laboratories with four blade-mounted servers and latest version software.

Department Association

The Computer Science and Engineering department association named PARIBHAASHAA was established In June 2010 and has been organizing various events like paper presentation, project presentation, technical quiz, debugging programs etc., and serves as a platform to showcase the talent of the students.

Professional Body Membership

All the students are motivated to become a professional member in any of the professional body associations like CSI, ISTE etc., and activities like technical seminar, workshops and conferences are organized through these associations for the benefit of the students.

Students Achievements

Students are offered training in .Net and Java technologies to carry out mini projects. Deserving projects are recognized and awarded. Students are also participate in workshops on emerging technologies such as embedded systems. open source software, etc., to enhance their technical proficiency.
